EDGE 1 - Buried Treasure by Chris Brady

My son, Ryker, is 10 years old today (12/11/12). He has his own subscription to the Edge series. By far, this is his favorite CD. He loves the story of the treasure hunt and uses the phrase "Today's the Day" often.  The Life materials have made a big differance in his life, and the direction of our entire family.

My 12 year old son could barely stand the wait for "his" subscription to show up! As I fully suspected, Chris Brady hit another one out of the park. My son has always enjoyed the way that Chris can tell an engaging story that brings real life relevance to the point he is speaking to and once again, this one did not disappoint. As soon as the CD was finished my son wanted to know how soon he could get the next one. Thanks once again to Chris, Orrin and the so many others that are now not only making a difference in the way my wife and I view the future but for helping to bring our children into the journey with us.

When the story of Mel Fisher and and the Atocha was in the news back when I was in high school in the 80's, and I was ready to break out and discover the world, I wanted so badly to go down there to Florida and wait on the docks to be picked as an extra hired hand on the boats for the salvage team. I was always interested in treasure and the stories of sunken galleons. If I had known then what I know today through this LIFE system, I know I would have had the courage to just do it! Still today, I love dreaming about being a treasure hunter. Since being introduced to LIFE I have become a treasure hunter of another kind, finding the the good in others. The story as Chris Brady tells it is inspiring and certainly relates to the young and adventurous at heart. My nephews have really enjoyed the Edge series CD's and this inaugural CD about the discovery of the Atocha's treasure. I am head over heels in love with the EDGE CD series!! In fact, it is my favorite CD to play out of all of my LIFE Subscription packs. I never liked history when I was in school, but was totally enthralled by this historical tale as told by Chris Brady. And wow, what a story teller he is! This adventurous story is fascinating and had me hanging on the edge of my seat. I mean, come on....how much can one man endure? Apparently a lot!!! This tale gives a whole new meaning to the word "perseverance". Talk about having an indomitable self belief. It makes one seriously question what we can legitimately call accomplishments in our lives. The hero in this story never deviates from his convicted heart. He teaches us all that success is on the other side of every obstacle. Block out all negativity and stay the course. What will your story be?

My daughter (12) LOVED this CD and so did I! I learned a lot from it that I didn't know and I loved the story as told by Chris Brady too. These are fantantic CD's. Keep it up. Thanks!
