A Fabulous Read!11/12/2012

I hated to see this book come to an end. It's part travelogue and part philosophy. It's also inspiring because he shows we CAN get away from it all if we want to. You'll enjoy Chris' terrific sense of humor as he shares his family experiences and you travel along the byways of the Italian peninsula. The beauty of the LIFE business is that these kinds of opportunities are available to us! Make sure you read it!

As an avid reader, but not a dreamer of travel, I thought this would be a book that would take me effort to read. Wow, was I mistaken!! I'm not sure if it is because I have such admiration for the Brady family, or that I have listened to many CD's and also had the pleasure of being in the audience when they were such special guests at a Seminar in Halifax - but it was as if Mr. Brady was telling this story to me in person. I was transported to Italy. There were times I felt like I could see what they saw, smell what they smelled, and felt what they were feeling. It was just a joy to be part of their month in Italy. I loved the whole experience - and especially how the little life lessons were taught and 'pointed out' at the end of each chapter. I realize I took your month long vacation in a short two day span, as I had a difficult time putting the book down, and I felt as though I had taken a vacation myself!! Such a treasure of a book to enjoy personally or to give as a gift... especially if you know of someone who plans to to there. Thank you!!

“A Month of Italy” authored by Chris Brady, is one of the most entertaining books that I have ever read! I started reading it on a plane last week and the person sitting next to me kept on looking at me because I was laughing out loud, seriously!! I returned from my trip and told my wife Laura about it. She started reading it right away and she was laughing out loud! I have never seen this happen. I also learned so much from this great read! My family is now planning another trip to Italy.

After reading the first few pages, I was in love with the book. Finishing the rest of the book, I was in love with Italy and the Bradys. As I was reading the last pages, I felt like Chris when he realized the vacation would soon be over. I didn't want the book to end! I can't wait until my husband is finished with it, so we can talk about everything. We are already planning our own Italian Experience! Thanks Chris, for sharing such a personal insight into a truly wonderful country.
